Free Halloween story

Monday, October 26th, 2009

As the title says, I’m giving out a free Halloween story, but only for the next week. I don’t think there is much of a point having a Halloween story after October 31st, but here it is for the next week. Just go to my website and click a couple of buttons and presto! you’ll have Fallen Angel. Just a warning- it is an adult story.

This past week Castle2, The Return to Domum was released. I love the front cover, something I had absolutely to influence on but will try to take some credit for anyway. A big thanks to Bratt for her work.

I neglected my writing this weekend. There are renovations to do in the basement and it is a bit of a struggle. The spiders now have to find a new home as new walls are put up and the whole area gets transformed.  I also got stuck in my office, doing mounds of paperwork related to my wine business. Maybe tomorrow, or Tuesday, or Wednesday I’ll get back to writing.

Have a good week and try to avoid renovations- they take up too much time.

Castle, The return to Domum has been released! I’m pretty excited about it as I believe it’s a great story. I think the cover is fantastic as well. Of course, since I wrote the story, my opions may be slightly biased.

The story is hard to describe in a few words, but takes place on two worlds. On Domum we have a few characters, namely Gilbert and Marisa. Marisa is a new character and she is a sex slave to Lord Troy. They have been empowered to travel to Earth to seek help to reverse a magic spell placed on their world. On Earth we have the warlock Madoc exciled from Domum and his new companion Angela. Madoc, with his knowledge of magic, is making a living as a magician. He is bored and wants to return to Domum, and isn’t expecting to a woman to suddenly turn his world world up-side-down.

We have a few other characters of course and you will know most of them from the first novel. But the relationships have progressed and life is just a little more complicated for some of them.

Anyway I hope you have a chance to read the book and the series. I think you enjoy meeting the people hiding iside the covers.

San Fransisco

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

I just returned from a small trip to California. Great place to visit and nice weather. My wife and I spent most of the time in San Fransisco and Napa Valley. I didn’t get much of a chance to use my laptop, whether it was checking emails or writing. I just didn’t want to waste valuable tourist time hiding in the hotel room writing when there were so many bars to visit. Historical bars, that is. Very valuable research for a possible future novel.

I did get to do a lot of walking around San Fransisco, and as a writer it gives me chance to see things in a new perspective. Buildings and streets are much different than home. The layout of the city is interesting with the hills and bay forcing the roads to curve. I absorbed as much as I could and someday some of what I saw could be incorporated into a story.

San Fransisco is a great city to visit, and Napa Valley is fantastic with all the wineries. However, it is now back to reality and work. I do have some writing to catch up on.

Cheers
