It took a while to arrive but I have a new story at Midnight Showcase.  The story is one of four in a digest call Night Moves, ISSN 1555-5496.  The Edge of Darkness is a vampire story with a twist.  Unlike our normal image of vampires, Rodney is a small framed man who suffers from claustrophobia, allergies and works at night to make a living.  Tired of a solitary existence he decides to give romance a try.  I hope you will give it a read and I will be posting an excerpt from it soon. 

Talnut is being edited right now.  My editor became ill and I have been reassigned to another so that has delayed the release date to next year.  A little frustrating as I hoped it would be this fall at one time.  I will keep you posted on the new release date.

This is Thanksgiving day in Canada and to all those reading this I want to wish them the best. We are having a dozen or more people this Sunday for dinner and I think everyone is looking forward to getting together.

Writing: things are a bit slow right now as my paying occupation is taking a lot of my time right now. I have a new wine to introduce to various stores and restaurants that is my main focus these past few days. However I’m still doing some editing on stories I’m planning to send in and I’m awaiting word on material I’ve already sent in. I’ll give more detail on that soon.

My wife Laurie is very busy cooking right now and I better go downstairs and help her before she finds out she’s better off without me entirely.

I want to say hello to everyone; I have a new, revamped website and I’m a bit nervous on all it will all turn out.  I’m a new writer and I hope to have more information on my up coming material soon.  Talnut should be available this year but a date has not been firmed up yet. 

I also have a short story coming out.  At the Edge of Darkness is a vampire story included in Night Moves Digest and will be available through Midnight Showcase Publishing soon.
